YOU WERE BORN TO BE FREE
As long as your peace is dependent on left or right, there will be no true rest in your being. As long as your joy is dependent on who is leading the way or promising a brighter future, there can be no true joy in your heart. For that upon which you depend for a feeling of goodness is ephemeral and will vanish like the dust swept away by the cycles of time. And that upon which you depend in order to live the fullness of your life is built on shaky ground because it has no real foundation in the immortal nature of your true light.
True peace and true joy and true goodness are found within, in the unchanging presence of being-ness. You have to dig deep to discover your original home, you have to have the fortitude to meet fear with a smile, you have to be one hundred percent willing to undo the matrix of social, moral, political and religious beliefs that have spun a web around your mind and severed the connection with your inner authority.
Let the world swing from this side to that side, let the opposites fight it out, let the pantomime of polarization have its day of glory. Free your mind of righteous position-taking, free your heart of grievance and hatred, open your eyes and watch with a soft gaze, let your breath be gentle and untethered.
You were born to breathe and dance and sing, you were born to touch the sky and reach for the stars, you were born to give birth to beauty in this world.
