You were born connected. To the umbilical cord, to your mother, to the pulse of life.
You came into this world, connected. To your breath, to the blood in your veins, to the aliveness of each moment.
You didn’t know anything else, but your connectedness. To the biome of your gut, to the auric field that surrounded you, to the body of love that is the world itself.
But gradually — or suddenly — you lost the connection. You became separate, isolated in your self. They cut the umbilical cord prematurely, leaving you gasping for air as if it was a foreign substance. They took you away from the safe haven of your mother’s arms, leaving you alone on a hard surface that hardened you into fear and frustration. They injected you with alien fluids, and you forgot the inalienability of your inner environment of cellular integrity.
And as your body grew, your spirit shrunk. You stopped being one with the totality, and became singular in your sense of needing to fight for survival, your need to prove yourself to be worthy of goodness, your need to control life in order to get what you want.
As your ego got stronger, your soul got weaker. You could no longer feel the tenderness of your heart, the beauty of your depth, the truth of your inner authority. You tried to find solace in ownership of things and people and places, you tried to find connection to your purpose, you tried to feel complete by chasing dreams and goals and accomplishments. But all of it only served to reify your separateness.
And now you fear the loss of your dreams, the failure of your endeavors, the heartbreak of the human experience. And now you fear those who don’t see things the same way as you, you fear the world and its seeming power to crush you, you fear the very air that you breathe. And you are poisoned by the illusion of separation, suffocated by the lies that keep you imprisoned in the matrix of automated reaction, disconnected from your true sovereignty of innate wholeness.
My friend, there is no greater transformation than to remember who you are … the One who was born complete and completely connected to all that exists. The One who was never separate, except in the dream. It is time to wake up from the dream … and remember your true Self as the One.
