Liberation is not discovered through an accumulation of spiritual qualities; rather, it is an emptying of the “spiritual shopping basket.” It’s a ruthlessly honest letting go of all ideas that uphold a sense of identity.

-----------------------------------------

The true purpose of the question “Who am I?” is to serve as a pointer to diving into the unknownness of this unbounded moment. It’s a question without an answer, a koan, a signpost to the edge of mind, where you are invited to take a leap.

-----------------------------------------

The false master dies because you stop feeding it with your allegiance. When you stop believing the voice of this false master to be true, when you stop mistaking yourself for this voice, its role as the controller of your life dies—and it falls into its rightful place.

-----------------------------------------

Right here, in this forever unfolding moment, the unbroken presence can hold it all. And in this holding, everything comes home to love.

------------------------------------------

Awakening doesn’t take us off into another realm where we transcend the human experience. It doesn’t magically make the human experience perfect. It doesn’t mean that the trajectory of your life suddenly comes to a full stop and you live in an enlightened stratosphere.

-------------------------------------------

There's only one kind of awakening I point to ... and that is awakening out of the dream of ego-identity, a falling away of the pedestal of self and a merging with the totality of life. It doesn't blind you, it opens your eyes to the reality of direct experience.

---------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------

Let us turn away from the drama and stop being entranced by entertainment. Let us shed all cover-ups, costumes, and masks — and stand up as open hearts and minds. And meet ourselves and each other in the kindness of deep listening and a connection that was never broken.

---------------------------------------------

We have forgotten that our true nature is wholeness itself, and so we believe ourselves to be separate from one another, from the world, from the cosmos, and from God.
This erroneous perception is the cause of all inner and outer conflict.

---------------------------------------------

Be right here, unmoving, unshakeable. Become a master of life, fully vibrating with aliveness—neither abdicating responsibility nor using your will to overpower life.
